Robert Popper was born in Geneva, Switzerland in 1971, where love and passion for photography started in childhood, inspired by his grandmother’s photography and love of art. His exposure to creativity and this medium at a young age has led him to express his imagination and capture moments of life, beauty, and chaos via film or digital photography.

His everlasting love for portraiture has developed over the years, leading him to press the shutter to encapsulate flowers and their natural beauty by manipulating artificial light.

Having lived in London for eight years, Robert honed his photography skills in the city which led him to be published by Photo Magazine, a renowned French photography publishing magazine. His work was featured as a result of the biggest photo competition, held by the magazine in 2020 and 2023.

Robert’s artworks have also crossed media boundaries by being sold at Sotheby’s auctions several times, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability. He is now based in the Algarve, Portugal, acquiring inspiration from the surrounding beauty working in nature and from his studio.
